Flying M Welding, L.L.C. (F.M.W.) is a privately owned, Denver, Colorado based limited liability corporation, which has been in business since 1996, providing high-quality, on-site welding in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain Region.
Through the years we’ve continued to grow by adding structural fabrication, oil/gas field construction, water utility construction and maintenance to the array of services we provide.

The American Welding Society (AWS) has been around for nearly 100 years and has always had a goal of developing the application and science of welding. F.M.W. has qualified for multiple welding procedures under AWS standards. These procedures include carbon steel, aluminum and stainless steel. Our most commonly used procedures cover the following filler metals and are:
6010, 7010, 7018, 9018, E71T-1, 304L
Our welders are tested in the 6G position, which means they are qualified for all positions in and witnessed by a certified welding inspector. Our welding procedures cover all AWS Group 1 and 2 materials as well as many materials not listed.
F.M.W. has several welders qualified in API procedures such as 1104 for various companies.American Petroleum Institute (API) is an organization that represents all aspects of the oil and gas industry.
F.M.W. specializes in welding water pipelines and treatment facilities, where we have been an integral part of new construction, repair and expansion along the Front Range and Texas.
Our experience in civil construction is unsurpassed, with welding multiple water pipelines throughout Colorado and parts of Texas. Pipe sizes range from 2 to 120 inches in diameter with varying wall thicknesses from as thin as .138″ to greater than 2″. Our projects run the gamut from a simple in-place repair to cross-country water pipelines.
In addition to water pipelines and water treatment facilities, our experienced team of professional field welders can take on just about anything you can throw at them. Each one is loaded with certifications and have taken on a wide range of jobs from bridges and overpasses, to working with plumbing and HVAC professionals.
F.M.W. has a full-service fabrication shop with the skills to estimate, detail, build, install or repair just about anything to fit your needs, whether it’s a large or small fabrication project.
